It looks exactly as pictured. It’s not real wood but it looks nice and feels sturdy. The assembly takes some time and there are a lot of steps and materials but the directions were easy to follow. I was a little disappointed to find out the back of the desk is not as pictured above - it is not finished so the desk really needs to be placed up against the wall and cannot be in the middle of a room. The drawer on my desk did not line up perfectly so it gets stuck and can be hard to open/ close. But overall for the price, this set can’t be beat.. Amanda.
